No. 01/IAU/RCDU-2025-26) for the recruitment of 20 Graduate and Diploma Apprentices for a one-year training program at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. This is an excellent, fee-free opportunity for recent technical and non-technical graduates to gain hands-on experience in the aviation sector.

General Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification Completion: Candidates must have completed their Degree or Diploma in 2021 or later.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 27 years (as of 24 November 2025). Age relaxation applies as per government norms.
- Nationality: Must be an Indian National.
- Location Preference: Preference will be given to candidates residing in Delhi/NCR.
Selection Process
The selection for the AAI Apprentice posts is merit-based and does not involve a written examination or application fee.
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted primarily based on their academic performance (marks/percentage in Degree/Diploma).
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for in-person verification of all original documents.
- Medical Fitness Test: Final selection is subject to clearance in the medical fitness examination.

How to Apply Online (Mandatory NATS Registration)
Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal before applying to AAI.
Step 1: NATS Registration (If not registered)
- Visit the official NATS portal: www.nats.education.gov.in.
- Complete the student registration process.
Step 2: Apply to AAI Establishment
- Log in to the NATS portal.
- Go to the “Establishment Request” menu.
- Search for the AAI establishment using the following details:
- Establishment ID: NDLNDC000087
- Establishment Name: “Airports Authority of India – RCDU/FIU & E&M Workshop, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi”
- Click on the “Apply” button to submit your application against the relevant discipline/trade.
- Confirmation: Ensure you see the confirmation message “Successfully applied for the training position”.
Special Note for General Stream Graduates (B.Com/BA/B.Sc/BBA):
- In addition to applying through NATS, candidates in these general streams must also send a single PDF of their application (and supporting documents) via email to: ipaggarwal@aai.aero
